Chainsaw Felling - Sever Individually Uprooted Trees (CS34)

Course Details:
This one day course takes place on-site and covers felling individual windblown trees. It will be delivered by one of Barony's qualified forestry instructors and leads to assessment in NPTC CS34.
Course Content:
- Sever windblown or otherwise uprooted trees, both under and over effective guide bar.
- Restrain overhanging (forward weight) root plate prior to severing stem.
- Use of hand/powered winches in wind blow situations
Certification:
Assessment will take place on a separate day, usually about two weeks after the course takes place, depending on assessor availability and candidate ability. Successful candidates will be awarded with NPTC Certificate of competence in unit CS34.

Course Fee: £350.00 per person

Entry Requirements:
To complete this training candidates are required to hold their NPTC units CS30 and CS31 for Chainsaw Maintenance, Crosscutting and Felling Small Trees and also CS32, Fell and Process Trees over 380mm.
