Safe Use of Pesticide Training (PA1)

Course Details:
This course is suitable for those working in forestry, agriculture, horticulture or greenkeeping. It is based round the National Proficiency Test Council PA1(Foundation) Test and is designed to help people to successfully prepare for their tests. The course lasts for one day, with attendance required to sit the test on another day following the course.
Course content
- Safe use of pesticides
- COSHH and risk assessment
- Personal protective equipment
- Interpretation of product labels
- Storage of chemicals
- How to handle spillages
- Wind speeds and other spraying conditions
- Disposal of empties and leftovers
- Emergency procedures
- Record keeping
Certification:
NPTC Assessments take place on a separate day, usually a couple of weeks after training, depending on assessor availability and candidate ability. Successful candidates will be awarded with NPTC Certificates of competence for PA1

Course Fee: £120.00 per person
Please note this includes 1 day training, assessment and registration with NPTC. There is no VAT on our training.
