Course Details:

This course is suitable for those working in forestry, agriculture, horticulture or greenkeeping. It is based around the National Proficiency Test Council PA2 (Mounted Crop Sprayers) Test and is designed to help people to successfully prepare for their tests.  The course lasts for one day, with attendance required to sit the test on another day following the course.

• Prepare the applicator for work, calibrate and operate it to ensure correct application rate without risk to themselves, other people and the environment.
• Carry out daily and routine maintenance on the applicator.
• Carry out the correct procedure for cleaning personal protective equipment and application equipment which may have been contaminated with pesticide.

Certification:

NPTC Assessments take place on a separate day, usually a couple of weeks after training, depending on assessor availability and candidate ability.  Successful candidates will be awarded with NPTC Certificates of competence for PA2.

Course Fee:  £280.00 per person

Please note this includes 1 day training, assessment and registration with NPTC.  There is no VAT on our training.

Candidates must have undertaken PA1 training.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
