Agriculture Short Courses Introduction

Barony College offers a wide range of short courses to cover most apects of the Agriculture sector, from Lambing and Foot Trimming to Pestcide Application Training and Drystane Dyking.

Should you have a need for training in an area that you do not see listed, please contact the Short Course Co-ordinator as our experienced staff may be able to put together a bespoke training course to suit your requirements.

Courses offered range from Barony certificates of attendance to Lantra Awards certificates of basic training and NPTC certificates of competence.

Many of our short courses are eligible for Land Management Options Funding. Further sources of funding may also be available to help subsidise the course fees. The funding available for each course can be found in the course details pages.
