Forestry and Arboriculture

 The study of forestry involves managing trees and woodlands in rural areas for commercial, social or other benefits. The study of arboriculture is more usually associated with the management of single or groups of trees, in more urban areas. A forestry or arboricultural qualification from Barony College has opened doors for many students to develop wide ranging and interesting careers from becoming skilled forest craftsmen to technically proficient arborists and forest machine operators to forestry managers.
