Course Details:
This course is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career at Craftsman or advanced Craftsman level. It is designed to meet the standards of the Sector Skills Council (Lantra). Lasting around 60 weeks, the programme is mostly work-based, with short periods of block attendance at the College. To achieve an MA, candidates must complete the SVQ 3, plus a package of industrial tests:
- Advanced hydraulics
- Forklift truck operations
- Specialist transmission
- Self management and Customer Care
- Air Conditioning
- Diagnostics
On completion of this qualification you would be in a position to register with the Institution of Agricultural Engineers as LTA2
Entry Requirements:
Successful completion of National Certificate programme and Level 2 Modern Apprenticeship.
